我的筆記存在哪？

預設存在 iCloud 雲碟的 Acorn 資料夾，在 iPhone 的「檔案」App 和 Mac 的 Finder 都找得到。設定裡改成 Google 雲端硬碟的話，就存在你雲端硬碟裡 Acorn 建的那個資料夾，電腦裝了雲端硬碟桌面版就看得到。每一筆是一般的文字檔，電腦上的任何編輯器和 AI 工具都讀得到。

我沒有用 iCloud，可以用嗎？

可以。到設定的「存在」可以改成 Google 雲端硬碟，下一題有怎麼搬。兩個都不用的話，筆記存在這個裝置上，只是不會同步到其他裝置；之後想換成 iCloud，到同一區就能搬進去。

怎麼改存到 Google 雲端硬碟？

到設定的「存在」選「Google 雲端硬碟」，先登入你的 Google 帳號。Acorn 會把 iCloud 裡的筆記、專案、錄音一份一份傳上去，全部對上才換過去；搬的時候可以關掉 App，下次打開接著搬，iCloud 那份會留著當備份。Mac 上有用 Obsidian 的話，等搬完再改開雲端硬碟裡的資料夾。Acorn 只用它自己建的那個資料夾，雲端硬碟裡其他東西碰不到。

怎麼收回 Acorn 存取雲端硬碟的權限？

打開 Google 帳戶的第三方連結頁面，找到 Acorn，移除它的存取權。雲端硬碟裡的檔案會留著。之後 Acorn 上面會出現「Google 雲端硬碟要重新登入」，在你重新登入之前，新記的先存在手機上。

講話沒有轉出字，或字轉錯了

第一次錄音時，請允許麥克風和語音辨識。沒轉出字的錄音不會不見，會收在「設定 ▸ 未轉錄的錄音」。常被聽錯的名字或專有名詞，可以加進「設定 ▸ 自訂詞彙」。想要更準，可以改用 Groq，下面有說明。

怎麼從控制中心或動作按鈕直接開始錄？

在控制中心長按空白處，點「加入控制項」，找到 Acorn。動作按鈕的話，到 iPhone 的「設定 ▸ 動作按鈕」，選「控制項」再挑 Acorn 的。鎖定畫面和主畫面的小工具，長按後也能加。

分享選單裡找不到 Acorn

在分享選單的 App 那一排往左滑到底，點「更多」，再點「編輯」，找到 Acorn，點左邊的綠色加號，然後按住右邊的三條線拖到最上面。

怎麼用 Groq？

到「設定 ▸ 語音轉錄服務」選 Groq，貼上你自己的 Groq 金鑰。打開之後，錄完的錄音會傳到 Groq 整理，費用算在你的 Groq 帳號。細節見隱私權政策。

怎麼刪掉我的資料？

見隱私權政策的「保存和刪除」。簡單說，開發者沒有你的資料，筆記在你自己的 iCloud 或 Google 雲端硬碟，直接在 Acorn、「檔案」App 或雲端硬碟裡刪就好。

Where are my notes stored?

By default, in the Acorn folder of iCloud Drive. You can find it in the Files app on iPhone and in Finder on Mac. If you switch to Google Drive in Settings, notes go to the folder Acorn creates in your Drive, and you can see them on your computer with Google Drive for desktop. Each note is an ordinary text file, so any text editor or AI tool on your computer can read it.

Can I use Acorn without iCloud?

Yes. In the storage section of Settings you can choose Google Drive instead, explained in the next question. If you use neither, your notes stay on this device and are not synced to others; to switch to iCloud later, move them over from the same section.

How do I switch to Google Drive?

In the storage section of Settings, choose Google Drive and sign in to your Google account. Acorn uploads the notes, projects and recordings from iCloud one file at a time and switches over only when everything matches. You can close the app during the move, and it picks up where it left off next time. The copy in iCloud is kept as a backup. If you use Obsidian on a Mac, wait until the move is done before opening the Drive folder instead. Acorn only uses the folder it creates and cannot reach anything else in your Drive.

How do I take back Acorn's access to Google Drive?

Open the third-party connections page of your Google Account, find Acorn and remove its access. The files in your Drive stay where they are. Acorn will then show a prompt to sign in to Google Drive again, and new notes are kept on the phone until you do.

Speech was not transcribed, or the words are wrong

The first time you record, allow the microphone and speech recognition. A recording that could not be transcribed is not lost. It waits in Settings under the list of untranscribed recordings. Names and terms that are often misheard can be added to "Custom words" in Settings. For better accuracy you can switch to Groq, explained below.

How do I start recording from Control Center or the Action button?

Touch and hold an empty spot in Control Center, tap "Add a Control" and find Acorn. For the Action button, open Settings, then Action Button, choose Controls and pick Acorn's. Widgets for the Lock Screen and Home Screen can be added by touching and holding as well.

Acorn is missing from the share sheet

In the row of apps in the share sheet, swipe left to the end, tap More, then Edit. Find Acorn, tap the green plus on its left, then press and hold the three lines on its right and drag it to the top.

How do I use Groq?

Go to Settings, choose Groq under transcription, and paste your own Groq API key. Once it is on, finished recordings are sent to Groq to be cleaned up, and the cost goes to your Groq account. Details are in the privacy policy.

How do I delete my data?

See "Retention and deletion" in the privacy policy. In short, the developer has none of your data and your notes live in your own iCloud or Google Drive, so you can delete them in Acorn, in the Files app or in Google Drive.
